We offer a world class ziplining experience as well other outdoor activities and facts about the history of the property and Kentucky. Promoting outdoor recreation, conservation, and education this is a great place to enjoy and learn about the outdoors.
Job responsibilities
You will be guiding groups of participants through the zipline course ensuring proper use of equipment and upholding safety standards
Assist with opening and closing of the course
Assist with course and property maintenance
Learn about the property to provide facts and information during tours
Job requirements
No physical limitations
Must be at least 18 years old
Must weigh under 250 lbs
Must have reliable transportation
Be a strong member of a team with the ability to take charge when necessary
Be able to lift 50lbs, be on your feet, walk, bend, on a continuous basis
Good interpersonal skills to ensure guest comfort throughout the experience
CPR and AED certifications required, can be acquired during training
Comfort working at various heights
Flexible availability
Be nice
Must maintain proper hygiene
Love of working in the outdoors, rain or shine
Useful skills
Knowledge of ropes and knots
Interest in local history and outdoor recreation and education
Good sense of humor
This position requires 40 hours of training to learn the course, safety procedures, and daily operations. You can still be paid during the time of your training for work done off the course. Pay starts at $10.50/hr plus tips.
